His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Act and subsection 8(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, hereby approves that the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration enter into the Canada-Ontario Extension Agreement on the Pilot Provincial Nominee Program with the Government of Ontario, substantially in accordance with the annexed draft agreement.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de la Loi sur le ministère de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et du paragraphe 8(1) de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil agrée la conclusion par le ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration, avec le gouvernement de l’Ontario, de l’Accord de prolongation Canada-Ontario sur le programme pilote des candidats de la province, lequel accord est conforme en substance au projet d’accord ci-joint.
