His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Convention between Canada and New Zealand for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Edward Fast, Minister for International Trade, or Louis Lévesque, Deputy Minister for International Trade, or Caroline Chrétien, High Commissioner for Canada to New Zealand, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Convention between Canada and New Zealand for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, la Convention entre le Canada et la Nouvelle-Zélande en vue d’éviter les doubles impositions et de prévenir l’évasion fiscale en matière d’impôts sur le revenu;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Edward Fast, ministre du Commerce international, ou Louis Lévesque, sous-ministre du Commerce international, ou Caroline Chrétien, haut-commissaire du Canada auprès de la Nouvelle-Zélande, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, la Convention entre le Canada et la Nouvelle-Zélande en vue d’éviter les doubles impositions et de prévenir l’évasion fiscale en matière d’impôts sur le revenu.
