Whereas The Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce has applied, pursuant to section 39 of the Boards of Trade Act, to change its name to “Fort Saskatchewan & District Chamber of Commerce”;

And whereas the Governor in Council is satisfied that the name change is not desired for any improper purpose and is not otherwise objectionable;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Industry, pursuant to section 39 of the Boards of Trade Act, hereby approves the application by The Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce to change its name to “Fort Saskatchewan & District Chamber of Commerce”.

Attendu que The Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce a présenté, au titre de l’article 39 de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce, une demande visant à faire changer sa dénomination pour « Fort Saskatchewan & District Chamber of Commerce »;

Attendu que le gouverneur en conseil est convaincu que le changement de dénomination n’est pas recherché dans un but irrégulier et n’est pas autrement susceptible d’objection,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de l’Industrie et en vertu de l’article 39 de la Loi sur les chambres de commerce, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil approuve la demande de The Fort Saskatchewan Chamber of Commerce visant à faire changer sa dénomination pour « Fort Saskatchewan & District Chamber of Commerce ».
