Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Ontario, the Honourable Warren K. Winkler, Chief Justice of Ontario, will be unable to act from April 10 to April 13, 2012, inclusive, and from April 15 to April 20, 2012, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for these periods;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867, hereby

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Warren K. Winkler as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 10, 2012;

(b) appoints the Honourable Heather J. Smith to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 10, 2012;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Heather J. Smith as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 14, 2012;

(d) appoints the Honourable Warren K. Winkler to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 14, 2012;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Warren K. Winkler as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 15, 2012;

(f) appoints the Honourable Marc Rosenberg to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 15, 2012;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Marc Rosenberg as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 21, 2012; and

(h) appoints the Honourable Warren K. Winkler to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 21, 2012.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, l’honorable Warren K. Winkler, juge en chef de l’Ontario, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 10 au 13 avril 2012 et du 15 au 20 avril 2012, et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Warren K. Winkler au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 10 avril 2012;

b) nomme l’honorable Heather J. Smith à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 10 avril 2012;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Heather J. Smith au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 14 avril 2012;

d) nomme l’honorable Warren K. Winkler à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 14 avril 2012;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Warren K. Winkler au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 15 avril 2012;

f) nomme l’honorable Marc Rosenberg à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 15 avril 2012;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Marc Rosenberg au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 21 avril 2012;

h) nomme l’honorable Warren K. Winkler à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 21 avril 2012.
