His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to subsection 19(1) of An Act to Implement Conventions between Canada and Morocco, Canada and Pakistan, Canada and Singapore, Canada and the Philippines, Canada and the Dominican Republic and Canada and Switzerland for the avoidance of double taxation with respect to income tax, hereby declares that the annexed supplementary convention, which was signed on November 29, 2011 and is intended to alter the Convention between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Republic of Singapore for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income, done in Singapore on March 6, 1976, is approved by Canada.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Finances et en vertu du paragraphe 19(1) de la Loi de mise en œuvre des conventions conclues entre le Canada et le Maroc, le Canada et le Pakistan, le Canada et Singapour, le Canada et les Philippines, le Canada et la République Dominicaine et le Canada et la Suisse, tendant à éviter des doubles impositions en matière d’impôt sur le revenu, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil déclare que la convention complémentaire ci-jointe, signée le 29 novembre 2011 et destinée à modifier la Convention entre le Canada et la République de Singapour, tendant à éviter les doubles impositions et à prévenir l’évasion fiscale en matière d’impôts sur le revenu, faite à Singapour le 6 mars 1976, est approuvée par le Canada.
