Whereas, pursuant to subsection 5(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration has caused a copy of the proposed Regulations Amending the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, substantially in the annexed form, to be laid before each House of Parliament;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to subsections 5(1) and 91(6) and paragraph 150.1(1)(c) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations.

Attendu que le ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration, conformément au paragraphe 5(2) de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, a fait déposer le projet de règlement intitulé Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, conforme en substance au texte ci-après, devant chaque chambre du Parlement,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et en vertu des paragraphes 5(1) et 91(6) et de l’alinéa 150.1(1)c) de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil prend le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, ci-après.
