Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, the Honourable Richard J. Scott, Chief Justice of Manitoba, will be unable to act from March 12 to March 14, 2012, inclusive, from March 29 to March 30, 2012, inclusive, from April 15 to April 20, 2012, inclusive, and from April 24 to April 27, 2012, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for these periods;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867, hereby

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Richard J. Scott as Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, effective March 12, 2012;

(b) appoints the Honourable Glenn D. Joyal to be Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 12, 2012;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Glenn D. Joyal as Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, effective March 15, 2012;

(d) appoints the Honourable Richard J. Scott to be Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 15, 2012;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Richard J. Scott as Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, effective March 29, 2012;

(f) appoints the Honourable Michel Monnin to be Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 29, 2012;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Michel Monnin as Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, effective March 31, 2012;

(h) appoints the Honourable Richard J. Scott to be Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 31, 2012;

(i) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Richard J. Scott as Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, effective April 15, 2012;

(j) appoints the Honourable Barbara M. Hamilton to be Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 15, 2012;

(k) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Barbara M. Hamilton as Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, effective April 21, 2012;

(l) appoints the Honourable Richard J. Scott to be Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 21, 2012;

(m) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Richard J. Scott as Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, effective April 24, 2012;

(n) appoints the Honourable Barbara M. Hamilton to be Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 24, 2012;

(o) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Barbara M. Hamilton as Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, effective April 28, 2012; and

(p) appoints the Honourable Richard J. Scott to be Administrator of the Government of Manitoba, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Manitoba during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 28, 2012.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba, l’honorable Richard J. Scott, juge en chef du Manitoba, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 12 au 14 mars 2012, les 29 et 30 mars 2012, du 15 au 20 avril 2012 et du 24 au 27 avril 2012 et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Richard J. Scott au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba, avec prise d’effet le 12 mars 2012;

b) nomme l’honorable Glenn D. Joyal à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Manitoba durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 12 mars 2012;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Glenn D. Joyal au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba, avec prise d’effet le 15 mars 2012;

d) nomme l’honorable Richard J. Scott à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Manitoba durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 15 mars 2012;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Richard J. Scott au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba, avec prise d’effet le 29 mars 2012;

f) nomme l’honorable Michel Monnin à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Manitoba durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 29 mars 2012;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Michel Monnin au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba, avec prise d’effet le 31 mars 2012;

h) nomme l’honorable Richard J. Scott à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Manitoba durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 31 mars 2012;

i) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Richard J. Scott au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba, avec prise d’effet le 15 avril 2012;

j) nomme l’honorable Barbara M. Hamilton à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Manitoba durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 15 avril 2012;

k) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Barbara M. Hamilton au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba, avec prise d’effet le 21 avril 2012;

l) nomme l’honorable Richard J. Scott à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Manitoba durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 21 avril 2012;

m) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Richard J. Scott au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba, avec prise d’effet
le 24 avril 2012;

n) nomme l’honorable Barbara M. Hamilton à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Manitoba durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 24 avril 2012;

o) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Barbara M. Hamilton au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba, avec prise d’effet le 28 avril 2012;

p) nomme l’honorable Richard J. Scott à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement du Manitoba afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur du Manitoba durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 28 avril 2012.
