Whereas the Honourable Gordon Ian Thomson, a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice in and for the Province of Ontario, died on December 22, 2011, while holding that office;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to section 44 of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $93,700 to Carol Anne Thomson, survivor of the Honourable Gordon Ian Thomson, to commence on December 23, 2011, and to continue during her life.

Attendu que l’honorable Gordon Ian Thomson est décédé le 22 décembre 2011, alors qu'il occupait le poste de juge de la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’article 44 de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil accorde, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 93 700 $ à Carol Anne Thomson, survivante de l’honorable Gordon Ian Thomson, payable à compter du 23 décembre 2011.
