His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Department of Citizenship and Immigration Act and subsection 8(1) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, hereby approves that the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration enter into an agreement with the Government of British Columbia, substantially in accordance with the annexed agreement, to facilitate the development and the conduct of a survey on the settlement outcomes of newcomers to Canada.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de la Loi sur le ministère de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration et du paragraphe 8(1) de la Loi sur l’immigration et la protection des réfugiés, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil agrée la conclusion, par le ministre de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration, avec le gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, d’un accord visant à faciliter l’élaboration et la conduite d’un sondage concernant les résultats de l’établissement des nouveaux arrivants au Canada, lequel accord est conforme en substance à l’accord ci-joint.
