His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, pursuant to subsection 114(2) of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act, hereby approves that the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, on behalf of the Government of Canada, enter into an agreement with the Governments of Ontario and Québec, substantially in accordance with the annexed draft agreement, with respect to the transfer of jurisdiction in respect of offenders released on parole who move to another province.

Sur recommandation du ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile et en vertu du paragraphe 114(2) de la Loi sur le système correctionnel et la mise en liberté sous condition, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil agrée la conclusion par le ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile, pour le compte du gouvernement du Canada, d’un accord avec les gouvernements de l’Ontario et du Québec concernant le transfert de compétence à l’égard des délinquants mis en liberté conditionnelle qui s’établissent dans une autre province, lequel accord est conforme en substance au projet d’accord ci-joint.
