Whereas the Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, the Honourable Lance S. G. Finch, Chief Justice of British Columbia, will be unable to act from February 13 to March 2, 2012, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for this period;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867, hereby

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Lance S. G. Finch as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective February 13, 2012;

(b) appoints the Honourable Robert J. Bauman to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective February 13, 2012;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Robert J. Bauman as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective February 20, 2012;

(d) appoints the Honourable Keith Bracken to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective February 20, 2012;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Keith Bracken as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective March 3, 2012; and

(f) appoints the Honourable Lance S. G. Finch to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 3, 2012.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, l'honorable Lance S. G. Finch, juge en chef de la Colombie-Britannique, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 13 février au 2 mars 2012 et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour cette période,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Lance S. G. Finch au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 13 février 2012;

b) nomme l’honorable Robert J. Bauman à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 13 février 2012;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Robert J. Bauman au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 20 février 2012;

d) nomme l’honorable Keith Bracken à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 20 février 2012;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Keith Bracken au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 3 mars 2012;

f) nomme l’honorable Lance S. G. Finch à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 3 mars 2012.
