Whereas the Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, the Honourable Lance S. G. Finch, Chief Justice of British Columbia, will be unable to act from March 5 to March 7, 2012, inclusive, from March 12 to March 13, 2012, inclusive, and from April 6 to April 13, 2012, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that another person be appointed Administrator for this period;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867, hereby

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Lance S. G. Finch as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective March 5, 2012;

(b) appoints the Honourable Jacqueline Dorgan to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 5, 2012;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Jacqueline Dorgan as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective March 8, 2012;

(d) appoints the Honourable Lance S. G. Finch to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 8, 2012;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Lance S. G. Finch as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective March 12, 2012;

(f) appoints the Honourable Jacqueline Dorgan to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 12, 2012;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Jacqueline Dorgan as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective March 14, 2012;

(h) appoints the Honourable Lance S. G. Finch to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 14, 2012;

(i) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Lance S. G. Finch as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective April 6, 2012;

(j) appoints the Honourable Jacqueline Dorgan to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 6, 2012;

(k) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Jacqueline Dorgan as Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, effective April 14, 2012; and

(l) appoints the Honourable Lance S. G. Finch to be Administrator of the Government of British Columbia, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 14, 2012.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, l'honorable Lance S. G. Finch, juge en chef de la Colombie-Britannique, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 5 au 7 mars 2012, les 12 et 13 mars 2012 et du 6 au 13 avril 2012 et qu’il est donc nécessaire qu’une autre personne soit nommée administrateur pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Lance S. G. Finch au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 5 mars 2012;

b) nomme l’honorable Jacqueline Dorgan à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 5 mars 2012;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Jacqueline Dorgan au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 8 mars 2012;

d) nomme l’honorable Lance S. G. Finch à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 8 mars 2012;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Lance S. G. Finch au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 12 mars 2012;

f) nomme l’honorable Jacqueline Dorgan à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 12 mars 2012;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Jacqueline Dorgan au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 14 mars 2012;

h) nomme l’honorable Lance S. G. Finch à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 14 mars 2012;

i) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Lance S. G. Finch au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 6 avril 2012;

j) nomme l’honorable Jacqueline Dorgan à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 6 avril 2012;

k) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Jacqueline Dorgan à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique, avec prise d’effet le 14 avril 2012;

l) nomme l’honorable Lance S. G. Finch à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Colombie-Britannique afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Colombie-Britannique durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 14 avril 2012.
