   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, pursuant to Vote No.1 (Foreign Affairs and International Trade) of the Appropriation Act No. 1, 2011-12, hereby appoints the Honourable Jean-Pierre Blackburn, P.C., as Ambassador and Permanent Delegate of Canada to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, in Paris, and fixes his salary at the rate set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($166,100 - $195,300).
