His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development with the concurrence of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to subsection 6.1(2) of the Canada Student Financial Assistance Act, hereby approves the terms and conditions of the student loan agreements for part-time students, under the Canada Student Loans Program, that could have a financial impact on Her Majesty in right of Canada, as set out in the annexed schedule.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS THAT COULD HAVE A FINANCIAL IMPACT ON HER MAJESTY IN RIGHT OF CANADA – STUDENT LOAN AGREEMENTS FOR PART-TIME STUDENTS UNDER THE CANADA STUDENT LOANS PROGRAMS

5. I understand that interest will not accrue on the principal amount of my Outstanding Loan Balance while I am a Part-Time Student. Interest will start accruing on the principal amount of my Outstanding Loan Balance on the first day of the month following the month in which I ceased to be a Part-Time Student under section 12.3 of the CSFAR or a full-time student under section 8 of the CSFAR.

Sur recommandation de la ministre des Ressources humaines et du Développement des compétences, à laquelle souscrit le ministre des Finances, et en vertu du paragraphe 6.1(2) de la Loi fédérale sur l’aide financière aux étudiants, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil approuve les conditions et modalités, énoncées à l’annexe ci-jointe, devant figurer dans les accords de prêt conclus au titre du Programme canadien de prêts aux étudiants (étudiants à temps-partiel), et pouvant avoir une incidence financière pour Sa Majesté du chef du Canada.

CONDITIONS ET MODALITÉS POUVANT AVOIR UNE INCIDENCE FINANCIÈRE POUR SA MAJESTÉ DU CHEF DU CANADA – ACCORDS DE PRÊT CONCLUS AU TITRE DU PROGRAMME CANADIEN DE PRÊTS AUX ÉTUDIANTS (ÉTUDIANTS À TEMPS PARTIEL)

5. Je comprends que les intérêts ne s’accumuleront pas sur le capital impayé de mon prêt pendant que je suis étudiant à temps partiel. Les intérêts commenceront à s’accumuler sur le principal du solde de prêts impayé le premier jour du mois suivant le mois où je cesserai d’être étudiant à temps partiel aux termes de l’article 12.3 du RFAFE ou étudiant à temps plein aux termes de l’article 8 du RFAFE.
