Whereas the Honourable Robert Dean Wilson, a Judge of the Supreme Court of British Columbia, will attain the age of seventy-five years on December 28, 2011, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date under the provisions of subsection 99(2) of the Constitution Act, 1867;

And whereas the Honourable Robert Dean Wilson has held judicial office for at least ten years;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(d) of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $187,400 to the Honourable Robert Dean Wilson, commencing on December 28, 2011, and continuing during his life.

Attendu que l’honorable Robert Dean Wilson, juge de la Cour suprême de la Colombie-Britannique, atteindra l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 28 décembre 2011 et que, en conséquence, il cessera d’occuper son poste à cette date en vertu du paragraphe 99(2) de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

Attendu que l’honorable Robert Dean Wilson a exercé des fonctions judiciaires pendant au moins dix ans,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)d) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil accorde à l’honorable Robert Dean Wilson, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 187 400 $, payable à compter du 28 décembre 2011.
