Whereas, pursuant to subsection 11(3) of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act, a copy of the proposed Regulations Amending the Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (Motorcycle Brake Systems — Standard 122), substantially in the annexed form, was published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on October 30, 2010, and a reasonable opportunity was afforded to interested persons to make representations to the Minister of Transport with respect to the proposed Regulations;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to subsection 11(1) of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act, hereby makes the annexed Regulations Amending the Motor Vehicle Safety Regulations (Motorcycle Brake Systems — Standard 122).

Attendu que, conformément au paragraphe 11(3) de la Loi sur la sécurité automobile, le projet de règlement intitulé Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur la sécurité des véhicules automobiles (systèmes de freinage des motocyclettes — norme 122), conforme en substance au texte ci-après, a été publié dans la Gazette du Canada Partie I le 30 octobre 2010 et que les intéressés ont ainsi eu la possibilité de présenter leurs observations à cet égard au ministre des Transports,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et en vertu du paragraphe 11(1) de la Loi sur la sécurité automobile, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil prend le Règlement modifiant le Règlement sur la sécurité des véhicules automobiles (systèmes de freinage des motocyclettes — norme 122), ci-après.
