 Whereas by resolutions of the Senate and of the House of Commons dated November 3, 2011, the Senate and the House of Commons have approved the appointment of Michael Ferguson as Auditor General of Canada;

 Therefore, the Committee of the Privy Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Auditor General Act , advises that a commission under the Great Seal do issue appointing Michael Ferguson of Hanwell, New Brunswick, as Auditor General of Canada, to hold office during good behaviour for a term of ten years, and fixes his conditions of employment as set out in the annexed schedule, effective November 28, 2011.

 Attendu que, par résolutions prises le 3 novembre 2011, le Sénat et la Chambre des communes ont approuvé la nomination de Michael Ferguson à titre de vérificateur général du Canada,

 À ces causes, sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu du paragraphe 3(1) de la Loi sur le vérificateur général du Canada, le Comité du Conseil privé recommande de nommer, par commission sous le grand sceau, Michael Ferguson, de Hanwell (Nouveau-Brunswick), vérificateur général du Canada, pour occuper sa charge à titre inamovible pour un mandat de dix ans, et fixe ses conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, à compter du 28 novembre 2011.
