His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes
(a) the Prime Minister or the Minister of Foreign Affairs to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Protocol amending the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters; or
(b) the Minister of Foreign Affairs to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing James Michael Flaherty, Minister of Finance, or Louis Lévesque, Deputy Minister for International Trade, or Keith Christie, Assistant Deputy Minister, Global Issues Branch, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, or Judith LaRocque, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Canada to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Protocol amending the Convention on Mutual Administrative Assistance in Tax Matters.
Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise :
a) soit le premier ministre, soit le ministre des Affaires étrangères, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, le Protocole d’amendement à la Convention concernant l’assistance administrative mutuelle en matière fiscale;
b) soit le ministre des Affaires étrangères à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant James Michael Flaherty, ministre des Finances, ou Louis Lévesque, sous-ministre du Commerce international, ou Keith Christie, sous-ministre adjoint, secteur des Enjeux mondiaux, ministère des Affaires étrangères et du Commerce international, ou Judith LaRocque, ambassadrice et représentante permanente du Canada auprès de l’Organisation de coopération et de développement économiques, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, le Protocole d’amendement à la Convention concernant l’assistance administrative mutuelle en matière fiscale.
