His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, hereby authorizes the Minister of Human Resources and Skills Development to assist the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness in delivering the Air India Flight 182 Ex Gratia Payment program, including performing functions related to receiving and assessing applications, making a recommendation with respect to an application and effecting payment on receipt of a positive decision from the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise la ministre des Ressources humaines et du Développement des compétences à appuyer le ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile dans la prestation du programme de paiements à titre gracieux du vol 182 d’Air India, notamment exercer des fonctions liées à la réception et à l’évaluation des demandes, fournir une recommandation à l’égard d’une demande et, sur réception d’une décision positive du ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile, verser le paiement.
