Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Ontario, the Honourable Warren K. Winkler, Chief Justice of Ontario, will be unable to act from October 19 to October 21, 2011, inclusive, from October 24 to October 28, 2011, inclusive, and from October 29 to November 11, 2011, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for this period;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867, hereby

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Warren K. Winkler as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective October 19, 2011;

(b) appoints the Honourable Heather J. Smith to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective October 19, 2011;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Heather J. Smith as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective October 22, 2011;

(d) appoints the Honourable Warren K. Winkler to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective October 22, 2011;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Warren K. Winkler as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective October 24, 2011;

(f) appoints the Honourable Heather J. Smith to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective October 24, 2011;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Heather J. Smith as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective October 29, 2011;

(h) appoints the Honourable Michael J. Moldaver to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective October 29, 2011;

(i) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Michael J. Moldaver as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective November 12, 2011; and

(j) appoints the Honourable Warren K. Winkler to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective November 12, 2011.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, l’honorable Warren K. Winkler, juge en chef de l’Ontario, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 19 au 21 octobre 2011, du 24 au 28 octobre 2011, et du 29 octobre au 11 novembre 2011, et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Warren K. Winkler au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 19 octobre 2011;

b) nomme l’honorable Heather J. Smith à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 19 octobre 2011;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Heather J. Smith au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 22 octobre 2011;

d) nomme l’honorable Warren K. Winkler à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 22 octobre 2011;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Warren K. Winkler au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 24 octobre 2011;

f) nomme l’honorable Heather J. Smith à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 24 octobre 2011;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Heather J. Smith au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 29 octobre 2011;

h) nomme l’honorable Michael J. Moldaver à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 29 octobre 2011;

i) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Michael J. Moldaver au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 12 novembre 2011;

j) nomme l’honorable Warren K. Winkler à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 12 novembre 2011.
