His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs
(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Protocol amending the Convention between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Republic of Singapore for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with respect to Taxes on Income, done in Singapore on 6 March 1976; or
(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing David Sevigny, High Commissioner for Canada to the Republic of Singapore, or Roman Borowyk, Senior Trade Commissioner, High Commission of Canada to Singapore, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Protocol amending the Convention between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Republic of Singapore for the Avoidance of Double Taxation and the Prevention of Fiscal Evasion with Respect to Taxes on Income, done in Singapore on 6 March 1976.
Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :
a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, le Protocole amendant la Convention entre le Canada et la République de Singapour, tendant à éviter les doubles impositions et à prévenir l’évasion fiscale en matière d’impôts sur le revenu, faite à Singapour le 6 mars 1976;
b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant David Sevigny, haut-commissaire du Canada à Singapour, ou Roman Borowyk, délégué commercial principal, haut-commissariat du Canada à Singapour, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, le Protocole amendant la Convention entre le Canada et la République de Singapour, tendant à éviter les doubles impositions et à prévenir l’évasion fiscale en matière d’impôts sur le revenu, faite à Singapour le 6 mars 1976.
