   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Finance, pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation Act, hereby approves the reappointment by the Minister of Finance of John S. McFarlane, Q.C., of Halifax, Nova Scotia, as a director of the Board of Directors of the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation to hold office during pleasure for a term of three years.

   Sur recommandation du ministre des Finances et en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de la Loi sur la Société d'assurance-dépôts du Canada, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil approuve le renouvellement, par le ministre des Finances, du mandat de John S. McFarlane, c.r., d’Halifax (Nouvelle-Écosse), administrateur du conseil d'administration de la Société d'assurance-dépôts du Canada, à titre amovible, pour une période de trois ans.
