Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, the Honourable John Klebuc, Chief Justice of Saskatchewan, will be unable to act from December 21 to December 30, 2011, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that another person be appointed Administrator for this period;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867, hereby

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable John Klebuc as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective December 21, 2011;

(b) appoints the Honourable Neal W. Caldwell to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective December 21, 2011;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Neal W. Caldwell as Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, effective December 31, 2011; and

(d) appoints the Honourable John Klebuc to be Administrator of the Government of Saskatchewan, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective December 31, 2011.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, l’honorable John Klebuc, juge en chef de la Saskatchewan, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 21 décembre au 30 décembre 2011 et qu’il est donc nécessaire qu’une autre personne soit nommée administrateur pour cette période,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable John Klebuc au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 21 décembre 2011;

b) nomme l’honorable Neal W. Caldwell à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 21 décembre 2011;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Neal W. Caldwell au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan, avec prise d’effet le 31 décembre 2011;

d) nomme l’honorable John Klebuc à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de la Saskatchewan afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de la Saskatchewan durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 31 décembre 2011.
