His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to paragraph 127.1(1)(a) of the Public Service Employment Act, hereby appoints Peter Sylvester of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Associate Deputy Minister of Citizenship and Immigration, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($185,800 - $218,500), effective October 3, 2011.

   Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’alinéa 127.1(1)a) de la Loi sur l’emploi dans la fonction publique, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil nomme Peter Sylvester, d’Ottawa (Ontario), sous-ministre délégué de la Citoyenneté et de l’Immigration, à titre amovible, et fixe son traitement conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (185 800 $ - 218 500 $), à compter du 3 octobre 2011.
