    His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to sections 5 and 8 of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency Act, hereby appoints George Da Pont of Ottawa, Ontario, to be President of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration and other employment conditions as set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is within the range ($209,800 - $246,900), effective July 11, 2011.

   Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu des articles 5 et 8 de la Loi sur l’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil nomme George Da Pont, d’Ottawa (Ontario), président de l’Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de cinq ans, et fixe sa rémunération et autres conditions d’emploi   conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, laquelle rémunération se situe dans l’échelle (209 800 $ - 246 900 $), à compter du 11 juillet 2011.
