His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, the Agreement on Cooperation on Aeronautical and Maritime Search and Rescue in the Arctic; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Morris Rosenberg, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, or Gérald Cossette, Associate Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, or Keith H. Christie, Assistant Deputy Minister, Global Issues Branch, or Sheila Riordon, Director General, Energy, Climate and Circumpolar Affairs Bureau to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, the Agreement on Cooperation on Aeronautical and Maritime Search and Rescue in the Arctic.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, l’Accord de coopération en matière de recherche et de sauvetage aéronautiques et maritimes dans l’Arctique;

b) soit à préparer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Morris Rosenberg, sous-ministre des Affaires étrangères, ou Gérald Cossette, sous-ministre délégué des Affaires étrangères, ou Keith H. Christie, sous-ministre adjoint, secteur des Enjeux mondiaux, ou Sheila Riordon, directrice générale, Direction générale de l’énergie, du climat et des affaires circumpolaires, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, l’Accord de coopération en matière de recherche et de sauvetage aéronautiques et maritimes dans l’Arctique.
