Whereas the Honourable C. Raymond Harris, a Judge of the Superior Court of Justice in and for the Province of Ontario, has become afflicted with a permanent infirmity disabling him from the due execution of his office and has tendered his resignation;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, hereby

(a) accepts the resignation of the Honourable C. Raymond Harris; and

(b) pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(c) of the Judges Act, grants to the Honourable C. Raymond Harris an annuity of $180,933.33, to continue during his life.

Attendu que l’honorable C. Raymond Harris, juge de la Cour supérieure de justice de l’Ontario, atteint d’une infirmité permanente l’empêchant d’accomplir utilement les devoirs de sa charge, a donné sa démission,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) accepte la démission de l’honorable C. Raymond Harris;

b) en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)c) de la Loi sur les juges, accorde à l’honorable C. Raymond Harris, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 180 933,33 $.
