Whereas in accordance with paragraph 5(a) of the First Nations Commercial and Industrial Development Act the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development has received a resolution of the council of the Fort William First Nation requesting that the Minister recommend to the Governor in Council the making of the annexed Fort William First Nation Sawmill Regulations;

And whereas in accordance with paragraph 5(b) of that Act an agreement has been concluded between the Minister, the Province of Ontario and the council of the Fort William First Nation for the administration and enforcement of the Regulations by the provincial officials and bodies specified in the Regulations;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to section 3 of the First Nations Commercial and Industrial Development Act, hereby makes the annexed Fort William First Nation Sawmill Regulations.

Attendu que, en vertu de l’alinéa 5a) de la Loi sur le développement commercial et industriel des premières nations, le ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien a reçu du conseil de la Première Nation de Fort William une résolution lui demandant de recommander au gouverneur en conseil la prise du Règlement sur la scierie de la Première Nation de Fort William, ci-après;

Attendu que, en vertu de l’alinéa 5b) de cette loi, le ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien, la province d’Ontario et le conseil de la Première Nation de Fort William ont conclu un accord au sujet de la mise en œuvre et du contrôle d’application de ce règlement par les fonctionnaires et organismes provinciaux à qui le règlement confère des attributions,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien et en vertu de l’article 3 de la Loi sur le développement commercial et industriel des premières nations, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil prend le Règlement sur la scierie de la Première Nation de Fort William, ci-après.
