   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 23 of the Museums Act, hereby approves the appointment by the Boards of Trustees of the Canadian Museum of Nature of Margaret Louise Beckel of Waterloo, Ontario, to be Director of the Canadian Museum of Nature to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and approves her remuneration and termination benefits determined by the Board of Trustees of the Canadian Museum of Nature as set out in the annexed schedule, which remuneration is within the range CEO 3 ($169,900 - $199,900), effective June 6, 2011.

   Sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 23 de la Loi sur les musées, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil approuve la nomination par le conseil d’administration du Musée canadien de la nature de Margaret Louise Beckel, de Waterloo (Ontario), directrice du Musée canadien de la nature à titre amovible pour un mandat de cinq ans, et approuve son traitement et ses avantages de fin d’emploi fixés par le conseil d’administration du Musée canadien de la nature conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle CEO 3 (169 900 $ - 199 900 $), à compter du 6 juin 2011.
