Whereas, pursuant to subsection 332(1) of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999, the Minister of the Environment published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on December 30, 2006, a copy of the proposed Marine Spark-Ignition Engine and Off-Road Recreational Vehicle Emission Regulations, as they were then entitled, and persons were given an opportunity to file comments with respect to the proposed Regulations or a notice of objection requesting that a board of review be established and stating the reasons for the objection;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of the Environment, pursuant to sections 160, 162 and 319 of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999, hereby makes the annexed Marine Spark-ignition Engine, Vessel and Off-road Recreational Vehicle Emission Regulations.

Attendu que, conformément au paragraphe 332(1) de la Loi canadienne sur la protection de l’environnement (1999), le ministre de l’Environnement a fait publier dans la Gazette du Canada Partie I, le 30 décembre 2006, le projet de règlement qui était alors intitulé Règlement sur les émissions des moteurs nautiques à allumage commandé et des véhicules récréatifs hors route, et que les intéressés ont ainsi eu la possibilité de présenter leurs observations à cet égard ou un avis d’opposition motivé demandant la constitution d’une commission de révision,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de l’Environnement et en vertu des articles 160, 162 et 319 de la Loi canadienne sur la protection de l’environnement (1999), Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil prend le Règlement sur les émissions des moteurs marins à allumage commandé, des bâtiments et des véhicules récréatifs hors route, ci-après.
