His Excellency the Governor General in Council, considering that the collection of the interest is unjust, on the recommendation of the Minister of National Revenue, pursuant to subsection 23(2) of the Financial Administration Act, hereby remits interest in the amount of $2,971.35, paid or payable under Part I of the Income Tax Act by Cynthia Carlson, having accrued during the period beginning on January 1, 1986 and ending on January 1, 2001, and all relevant interest on it.

Sur recommandation du ministre du Revenu national et en vertu du paragraphe 23(2) de la Loi sur la gestion des finances publiques, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil, estimant que la perception en est injuste, fait remise de la somme de 2 971,35 $ payée ou à payer, en vertu de la partie I de la Loi de l’impôt sur le revenu, par Cynthia Carlson à titre d’intérêts accumulés durant la période commençant le 1^er janvier 1986 et se terminant le 1^er janvier 2001, ainsi que des intérêts afférents.
