   His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to subsection 53(4) of the Privacy Act, hereby appoints Jennifer Stoddart of Westmount, Quebec, to be Privacy Commissioner on an interim basis, to hold office during good behaviour for a maximum term of six months or until such time as a Privacy Commissioner is appointed, and fixes her employment conditions as set out in the annexed schedule.

   Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu du paragraphe 53(4) de la Loi sur la protection des renseignements personnels, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil nomme Jennifer Stoddart, de Westmount (Québec), Commissaire à la protection de la vie privée par intérim, à titre inamovible, pour un mandat maximal de six mois ou jusqu’à ce qu’un Commissaire à la protection de la vie privée soit nommé, et fixe ses conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe.
