His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans, hereby

(a) pursuant to subsection 59(1) of the Fisheries Act, in respect of the province of British Columbia only, repeals the authority granted under Order in Council P.C. 1912-2547 of September 19, 1912; and

(b) pursuant to section 5 of the Department of Fisheries and Oceans Act, approves that the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans enter into an agreement relating to aquaculture management with the province of British Columbia substantially in accordance with the annexed agreement.

Sur recommandation de la ministre des Pêches et des Océans, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil :

a) en vertu du paragraphe 59(1) de la Loi sur les pêches, abroge l’autorisation accordée aux termes du décret P.C. 1912-2547 du 19 septembre 1912, à l’égard de la province de la Colombie-Britannique uniquement;

b) en vertu de l’article 5 de la Loi sur le ministère des Pêches et des Océans, approuve la conclusion par la ministre des Pêches et des Océans, avec la province de la Colombie-Britannique, d’un accord sur la gestion de l’aquaculture qui est de façon générale conforme au projet d’accord ci-joint.
