Whereas, pursuant to paragraph 4(1)(d) of the Employment Equity Act, the Treasury Board has consulted the Solicitor General of Canada concerning the application of that Act to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Labour and the Treasury Board, pursuant to paragraph 4(1)(d) of the Employment Equity Act, hereby makes the annexed Order Specifying the Royal Canadian Mounted Police for the Purposes of the Employment Equity Act.

Attendu que, conformément à l'alinéa 4(1)d) de la Loi sur l'équité en matière d'emploi, le Conseil du Trésor a consulté le solliciteur général du Canada au sujet de l'application de cette loi à la Gendarmerie royale du Canada,

À ces causes, sur recommandation de la ministre du Travail et du Conseil du Trésor, et en vertu de l'alinéa 4(1)d) de la Loi sur l'équité en matière d'emploi, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil prend le Décret désignant la Gendarmerie royale du Canada pour l'application de la Loi sur l'équité en matière d'emploi, ci-après.
