Whereas, in accordance with subsection 20(1) of the Canada Post Corporation Act, a copy of the proposed Postage Meter Regulations, 2010, substantially in the form set out in the annexed regulations, was published in the Canada Gazette, Part 1, on May 8, 2010 and a reasonable opportunity was thereby afforded to interested persons to make representations to the Minister of Transport with respect to the proposed regulations;

Therefore, His Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Transport, pursuant to subsection 19(1) of the Canada Post Corporation Act, hereby approves the annexed Postage Meter Regulations, 2010, made by the Canada Post Corporation on August 4^th, 2010.

Attendu que, conformément au paragraphe 20(1) de la Loi sur la Société canadienne des postes, le projet de règlement intitulé Règlement sur les machines à affranchir (2010), conforme en substance au texte ci-après, a été publié dans la Gazette du Canada Partie I le 8 mai 2010 et que les intéressés ont ainsi eu la possibilité de présenter leurs observations à cet égard au ministre des Transports,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre des Transports et en vertu du paragraphe 19(1) de la Loi sur la Société canadienne des postes, Son Excellence le Gouverneur général en conseil approuve le Règlement sur les machines à affranchir (2010), ci-après, pris par la Société canadienne des postes le 4 août 2010.
