Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 3 of the Department of Canadian Heritage Act, hereby appoints Daniel Jean of Gatineau, Quebec, to be Deputy Minister of Canadian Heritage, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($209,800 - $246,900), effective November 15, 2010.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’article 3 de la Loi sur le ministère du Patrimoine canadien, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Daniel Jean, de Gatineau (Québec), au poste de sous-ministre du Patrimoine canadien, à titre amovible, et fixe son traitement conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (209 800 $ - 246 900 $), à compter du 15 novembre 2010.
