   Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 8 of the National Defence Act, hereby appoints Matthew King of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Associate Deputy Minister of National Defence, to hold office during pleasure, and fixes his salary as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($182,400 - $214,700), effective October 12, 2010.

   Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’article 8 de la Loi sur la défense nationale, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Matthew King, d’Ottawa (Ontario), au poste de sous-ministre délégué de la Défense nationale, à titre amovible, et fixe son traitement conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l'échelle (182 400 $ - 214 700 $), à compter du 12 octobre 2010.
