Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Ontario, the Honourable Warren K. Winkler, Chief Justice of Ontario, will be unable to act from July 9 to July 20, 2010, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for this period;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867, hereby

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Warren K. Winkler as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective July 9, 2010;

(b) appoints the Honourable Michael J. Moldaver to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective July 9, 2010;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Michael J. Moldaver as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective July 12, 2010;

(d) appoints the Honourable Dennis R. O’Connor to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective July 12, 2010;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Dennis R. O’Connor as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective July 21, 2010;

(f) appoints the Honourable Warren K. Winkler to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective July 21, 2010.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, l’honorable Warren K. Winkler, juge en chef de l’Ontario, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 9 juillet au 20 juillet 2010 et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateur pour cette période,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Warren K. Winkler, au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 9 juillet 2010;

b) nomme l’honorable Michael J. Moldaver à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 9 juillet 2010;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Michael J. Moldaver au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 12 juillet 2010;

d) nomme l’honorable Dennis R. O’Connor, à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 12 juillet 2010;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Dennis R. O’Connor au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 21 juillet 2010;

f) nomme l’honorable Warren K. Winkler, à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 21 juillet 2010.
