Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between Canada and the Federation of Saint Christopher (St. Kitts) and Nevis for the Exchange of Information on Tax Matters; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Ruth Archibald, High Commissioner for Canada to the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, or Alexandra Bugailiskis, Assistant Deputy Minister, Latin America and the Caribbean, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, or Jacques Desjardins, Counsellor at the High Commission of Canada to Barbados, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between Canada and the Federation of Saint Christopher (St. Kitts) and Nevis for the Exchange of Information on Tax Matters.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le Canada et la Fédération de Saint-Kitts-et-Nevis sur l’échange de renseignements en matière fiscale;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Ruth Archibald, haut-commissaire du Canada auprès de la Fédération de Saint-Kitts-et-Nevis, ou Alexandra Bugailiskis, sous-ministre adjointe, Amérique latine et Antilles, ministère des Affaires étrangères et du Commerce international, ou Jacques Desjardins, conseiller au haut-commissariat du Canada auprès de la Barbade, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le Canada et la Fédération de Saint-Kitts-et-Nevis sur l’échange de renseignements en matière fiscale.
