Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement Between Canada and The Commonwealth of The Bahamas for the Exchange of Information on Tax Matters; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing Stephen Hallihan, High Commissioner for Canada to the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, or Alexandra Bugailiskis, Assistant Deputy Minister, Latin America and the Caribbean, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, or Brendan John Paddick, Honorary Consul of Canada at Nassau, the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement Between Canada and The Commonwealth of The Bahamas for the Exchange of Information on Tax Matters.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le Canada et le Commonwealth des Bahamas sur l’échange de renseignements en matière fiscale;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant Stephen Hallihan, haut-commissaire du Canada auprès du Commonwealth des Bahamas, ou Alexandra Bugailiskis, sous-ministre adjointe, Amérique latine et Antilles, ministère des Affaires étrangères et du Commerce international, ou Brendan John Paddick, consul honoraire du Canada à Nassau (Commonwealth des Bahamas), à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le Canada et le Commonwealth des Bahamas sur l’échange de renseignements en matière fiscale.
