Whereas the Royal Canadian Mounted Police officers listed in Column 1 of the attached schedule, promoted to their respective ranks by the Orders in Council listed in Column 2 of the schedule, have applied for voluntary retirement from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police on the dates indicated in Column 3 of the schedule;
And whereas, pursuant to subsection 23(1) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Regulations, 1988, the Commissioner of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police has forwarded recommendations to the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness for the administrative discharge from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police of these officers from the force on the grounds of voluntary retirement as referred to in paragraph 19(d) of those Regulations effective as of the dates indicated in Column 3;
Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness, pursuant to subsection 23(2) of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Regulations, 1988, hereby discharges the officers listed in Column 1 of the attached schedule from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, effective on the dates set opposite their names in Column 3.
Attendu que les officiers de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada dont les noms figurent dans la colonne 1 de l’annexe ci-jointe, et qui ont été promus à leurs grades respectifs par les décrets mentionnés à la colonne 2, ont fait une demande de retraite volontaire de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, lesquelles retraites prennent effet aux dates indiquées dans la colonne 3;
Attendu que, en vertu du paragraphe 23(1) du Règlement de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada (1988), le Commissaire de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada a transmis au ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile des recommandations de renvoi de la gendarmerie par mesure administrative de ces officiers pour retraite volontaire , comme le prévoit l’alinéa 19d) de ce règlement, lequel renvoi doit prendre effet aux dates indiquées dans la colonne 3 de l’annexe,
À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Sécurité publique et de la Protection civile et en vertu du paragraphe 23(2) du Règlement de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada (1988), Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil renvoie de la Gendarmerie royale du Canada, aux dates indiquées dans la colonne 3 de l’annexe ci-jointe, les officiers dont les noms figurent dans la colonne 1.
