     Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to sections 5 and 8 of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency Act, hereby appoints George Da Pont of Ottawa, Ontario, to be Executive Vice- President of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency, to hold office during pleasure for a term of five years, and fixes his remuneration as set out in the annexed schedule, which salary is within the range ($182,400 - $214,700), effective June 28, 2010.

       Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu des articles 5 et 8 de la Loi sur l ’ Agence canadienne d’inspection des aliments, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme George Da Pont, d ’ Ottawa (Ontario), premier vice- président de l ’ Agence canadienne d ’ inspection des aliments, à titre amovible, pour un mandat de cinq ans, et fixe sa rémunération conformément à l'annexe ci-jointe, lequel traitement se situe dans l’échelle (182 400 $ - 214 700 $), à compter du 28 juin 2010.
