   Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Indian Affairs and Northern Development, pursuant to subsection 5(1) of the Nunavut Act, hereby appoints Edna Elias of Kugluktuk, Nunavut, as Commissioner of Nunavut for a term of five years, and fixes her employment conditions as set out in the annexed schedule.

   Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires indiennes et du Nord canadien et en vertu du paragraphe 5(1) de la Loi sur le Nunavut, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil nomme Edna Elias, de Kugluktuk (Nunavut), au poste de commissaire du Nunavut pour une période de cinq ans, et fixe ses conditions d’emploi conformément à l’annexe ci-jointe.
