Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs

(a) to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Turks and Caicos Islands under Entrustment from the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for the Exchange of Information on Tax Matters; or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing James R. Wright, High Commissioner for Canada to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, or Stephen Hallihan, High Commissioner for Canada to Jamaica, to sign, on behalf of the Government of Canada, subject to ratification, the Agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the Turks and Caicos Islands under Entrustment from the Government of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland for the Exchange of Information on Tax Matters.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des îles Turks et Caicos, agissant en vertu d’un mandat du gouvernement du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord, sur l’échange de renseignements en matière fiscale;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant James R. Wright, haut-commissaire du Canada auprès du Royaume-Uni de Grande Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord, ou Stephen Hallihan, haut-commissaire du Canada auprès de la Jamaïque, à signer, au nom du gouvernement du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord entre le gouvernement du Canada et le gouvernement des îles Turks et Caicos, agissant en vertu d’un mandat du gouvernement du Royaume-Uni de Grande-Bretagne et d’Irlande du Nord, sur l’échange de renseignements en matière fiscale.
