Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes that Minister:

(a) to sign, on behalf of Canada, subject to ratification, the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and the Republic of Panama, or

(b) to execute and issue an Instrument of Full Powers authorizing the Honourable Peter Van Loan, Minister for International Trade, or Patricia Langan-Torell, Ambassador of Canada to the Republic of Panama, to sign, on behalf of Canada, subject to ratification, the Free Trade Agreement between Canada and the Republic of Panama.

Sur recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci :

a) soit à signer, au nom du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de libre-échange entre le Canada et la République du Panama;

b) soit à signer et à délivrer un instrument de pleins pouvoirs autorisant l’honorable Peter Van Loan, ministre du Commerce international, ou Patricia Langan-Torell, ambassadeur du Canada auprès de la République du Panama, à signer, au nom du Canada, sous réserve de ratification, l’Accord de libre-échange entre le Canada et la République du Panama.
