Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Ontario, the Honourable Warren K. Winkler, Chief Justice of Ontario, will be unable to act from April 5 to April 9, 2010, inclusive, from April 21 to
April 24, 2010, inclusive, and from April 26 to April 30, 2010, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for these periods;
Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867, hereby
(a) terminates the appointment of the
Honourable Warren K. Winkler as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 5, 2010;
(b) appoints the Honourable Michael J. Moldaver to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 5, 2010;
(c) terminates the appointment of the
Honourable Michael J. Moldaver as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 10, 2010;
(d) appoints the Honourable Warren K. Winkler to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 10, 2010;
(e) terminates the appointment of the
Honourable Warren K. Winkler as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 21, 2010;
(f) appoints the Honourable Michael J. Moldaver to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 21, 2010;
(g) terminates the appointment of the
Honourable Michael J. Moldaver as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 25, 2010;
(h) appoints the Honourable Warren K. Winkler to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 25, 2010;
(i) terminates the appointment of the
Honourable Warren K. Winkler as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective April 26, 2010;
(j) appoints the Honourable Heather J. Smith to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective April 26, 2010;
(k) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Heather J. Smith as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective
May 1, 2010; and
(l) appoints the Honourable Warren K. Winkler to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective May 1, 2010.
Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, l'honorable Warren K. Winkler, juge en chef de l’Ontario, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 5 avril au 9 avril 2010,
du 21 avril au 24 avril 2010 et du 26 avril au 30 avril 2010 et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour ces périodes,
À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre
du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :
a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Warren K. Winkler au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 5 avril 2010;
b) nomme l’honorable Michael J. Moldaver à titre d’administrateur
du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions
de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 5 avril 2010;
c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Michael J. Moldaver au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 10 avril 2010;
d) nomme l’honorable Warren K. Winkler à titre d’administrateur
du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions
de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet
le 10 avril 2010;
e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Warren K. Winkler au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 21 avril 2010;
f) nomme l’honorable Michael J. Moldaver à titre d’administrateur
du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions
de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet
le 21 avril 2010;
g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Michael J. Moldaver au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 25 avril 2010;
h) nomme l’honorable Warren K. Winkler à titre d’administrateur
du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions
de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet
le 25 avril 2010;
i) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Warren K. Winkler au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 26 avril 2010;
j) nomme l’honorable Heather J. Smith à titre d’administratrice
du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions
de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 26 avril 2010;
k) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Heather J. Smith au poste d’administratrice du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet
le 1er mai 2010;
l) nomme l’honorable Warren K. Winkler à titre d’administrateur
du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions
de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 1er mai 2010.
