Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, hereby authorizes the Minister of Foreign Affairs to take the actions necessary to bring into force for Canada the Protocol of 1997 to amend the International Convention for the Prevention of Pollution from Ships, 1973, as modified by the Protocol of 1978 relating thereto.

Sur la recommandation du ministre des Affaires étrangères, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil autorise celui-ci à prendre les mesures nécessaires à l = entrée en vigueur pour le Canada du Protocole de 1997 modifiant la Convention internationale de 1973 pour la prévention de la pollution par les navires modifiée par le Protocole de 1978 s’y rapportant.
