Whereas the Honourable Louis-Philippe Landry, a Judge of the Superior Court of Quebec, will attain the age of seventy-five years on April 29, 2010, and, therefore, will cease to hold office on that date under the provisions of subsection 99(2) of the Constitution Act, 1867;

And whereas the Honourable Louis-Philippe Landry has held judicial office for at least ten years;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Justice, pursuant to paragraph 42(1)(d) of the Judges Act, hereby grants an annuity of $178,133.33 to the Honourable Louis-Philippe Landry, commencing on April 29, 2010, and continuing during his life.

Attendu que l’honorable Louis-Philippe Landry, juge de la Cour supérieure du Québec, atteindra l’âge de soixante-quinze ans le 29 avril 2010 et que, en conséquence, il cessera d’occuper son poste à cette date en vertu du paragraphe 99(2) de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867;

Attendu que l’honorable Louis-Philippe Landry a exercé des fonctions judiciaires pendant au moins dix ans,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre de la Justice et en vertu de l’alinéa 42(1)d) de la Loi sur les juges, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil accorde à l’honorable Louis-Philippe Landry, à titre viager, une pension annuelle de 178 133,33 $, payable à compter du 29 avril 2010.
