Whereas the Administrator of the Government of Ontario, the Honourable Warren K. Winkler, Chief Justice of Ontario, will be unable to act from March 10 to March 19, 2010, inclusive, and from March 22 to
March 26, 2010, inclusive, and it is therefore necessary that other persons be appointed Administrator for these periods;

Therefore, Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Minister of Canadian Heritage, pursuant to section 67 of the Constitution Act, 1867, hereby

(a) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Warren K. Winkler as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective March 10, 2010;

(b) appoints the Honourable Heather J. Smith to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 10, 2010;

(c) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Heather J. Smith as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective March 20, 2010;

(d) appoints the Honourable Warren K. Winkler to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 20, 2010;

(e) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Warren K. Winkler as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective March 22, 2010;

(f) appoints the Honourable Dennis R. O’Connor to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 22, 2010;

(g) terminates the appointment of the Honourable Dennis R. O’Connor as Administrator of the Government of Ontario, effective March 27, 2010; and

(h) appoints the Honourable Warren K. Winkler to be Administrator of the Government of Ontario, to execute the office and functions of the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario during the absence, illness or other inability of the Lieutenant Governor, effective March 27, 2010.

Attendu que l’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, l’honorable Warren K. Winkler, juge en chef de l’Ontario, ne sera pas en mesure de remplir ses fonctions du 10 mars au 19 mars 2010 et du 22 mars au 26 mars 2010 et qu’il est donc nécessaire que d’autres personnes soient nommées administrateurs pour ces périodes,

À ces causes, sur recommandation du ministre du Patrimoine canadien et en vertu de l’article 67 de la Loi constitutionnelle de 1867, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Warren K. Winkler, au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 10 mars 2010;

b) nomme l’honorable Heather J. Smith à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’elle remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 10 mars 2010;

c) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Heather J. Smith au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 20 mars 2010;

d) nomme l’honorable Warren K. Winkler, à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 20 mars 2010;

e) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Warren K. Winkler, au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 22 mars 2010;

f) nomme l’honorable Dennis R. O’Connor à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 22 mars 2010;

g) met fin à la nomination de l’honorable Dennis R. O’Connor au poste d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario, avec prise d’effet le 27 mars 2010;

h) nomme l’honorable Warren K. Winkler, à titre d’administrateur du gouvernement de l’Ontario afin qu’il remplisse les fonctions de lieutenant-gouverneur de l’Ontario durant l’absence, la maladie ou autre incapacité de ce dernier, avec prise d’effet le 27 mars 2010.
