Her Excellency the Governor General in Council, on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, pursuant to section 11 of the Ministries and Ministers of State Act, hereby

(a) terminates the assignment of the Honourable Keith Ashfield, made by Order in Council P.C. 2008-1721 of October 30, 2008, and

(b) assigns the Honourable Keith Ashfield, a Minister of State, to be styled Minister for the Atlantic Gateway, to assist the Minister of Transport in the carrying out of that Minister’s responsibilities,

effective January 19, 2010.

Sur recommandation du premier ministre et en vertu de l’article 11 de la Loi sur les départements et ministres d’État, Son Excellence la Gouverneure générale en conseil :

a) met fin à la délégation de l’honorable Keith Ashfield, fai te par le décret C.P. 2008-1721 du 30 octobre 2008;

b) délègue l’honorable Keith Ashfield, ministre d’État, devant porter le titre de ministre de la porte d’entrée de l’Atlantique, auprès du ministre des Transports afin qu’il lui prête son concours dans l’exercice de ses responsabilités.

Ces mesures prennent effet le 19 janvier 2010.
